Oregano Olive Oil – Recipe Suggestion
Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad
You can give this salad a fun new look by using a mix of multicoloured cherry tomatoes and small fresh mozzarella balls.
You can also make Caprese kebabs by skewering the ingredients
2 pint pot of various coloured cherry tomatoes – halved
8 oz. container of small fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
1/4 cup of Bonamini Oregano Extra Virgin Olive Oil
salt and black pepper to taste
some fresh oregano
Combine tomatoes, mozzarella, Bonamini Oregano Extra Virgin Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste in a large bowl
Stir in fresh Oregano and serve immediately at room temperature
You can use Basil for this recipe also and you can add a drizzle of white balsamic vinegar – regular balsamic vinegar tastes great but will turn the cheese brown!
If you don’t mind the brownish tinge to the cheese then go for it……
