Bonamini Black Olive Pate from Italy
Bonamini Black Olive Pate from Italy is a velvety cream obtained from the pulp of black olives. Excellent spread on toast, on canapés and as a condiment for pasta (adding extra virgin olive oil and some pitted olives). Ideal for flavouring meat and fish dishes. Storage: once the jar has been opened, add a thin layer of oil on the surface and keep it in the fridge.

Black Olive Pate – How to Make Your Own – Recipe Suggestion
1/2 cup black olives
1/2 cup green olives
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Fresh flat leaf parsley – as much or as little as you like – at least 5-10 leaves
black pepper to taste
Place garlic cloves into a bender or food processor; add olives, (capers if you like), parsley, lemon juice and olive oil.
Blend until everything is finely chopped – season to taste with black pepper and a little salt – great on toasted soldiers – enjoy!
